Customize Your User Experience

Setting up a user profile is the first step to enjoying the Uconnect infotainment system to the fullest. While you can access most functions as a guest user, a profile allows you to customize the interface with the vehicle functions you need fast access to, set music preferences, and, in equipped models, save your seating position, temperature, and side mirror placement, ensuring maximum comfort each time you enter the vehicle.

Each new Ram vehicle running the Uconnect 5 system supports up to five user profiles that can be linked to different key fobs for easy access. You can also switch between user profiles manually with a single touch.

Use Voice Commands

Voice commands enable you to access the Uconnect infotainment functions without taking your hands off the steering wheel. You can activate them by pressing the dedicated button on your steering wheel. Once the system has woken up, you can tell it to play your favorite music, make a phone call if your device is connected, and more.

In systems with built-in Alexa or Google, you can also use these assistants to control media, get directions, and even manage your smart home devices.

Connect Your Phone

Smartphone integration is standard on the Uconnect system, either via Bluetooth or with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Bluetooth pairing lets you use voice commands to make and answer calls, read or send texts, and play music.

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay mirror your phone on your Ram’s center touchscreen, allowing you to access many phone apps, including WhatsApp, Spotify, or your phone’s maps for easy navigation.

Get the Ram App

Compatible with the latest Uconnect systems, the Ram App pairs with the Ram Connect services, enabling remote vehicle control and other useful functions. You can use it to start the engine or lock and unlock the doors, operate the air conditioning system to preheat or cool the cabin before entering the vehicle, locate your Ram in a busy parking lot, and get vehicle health reports and alerts.
