2025 Jeep Wrangler

Legendary off-road capability meets premium luxury in the 2025 Jeep Wrangler. Jeep’s iconic SUV is available in six trim configurations to suit the differing needs and priorities of Altoona drivers. We look at the unique characteristics of each Wrangler model.

1. Sport

First up is the Sport, a capable Wrangler powered by a 3.6-liter V6 and an all-wheel-drive system, which cranks out 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Jeep’s budget-friendly trim is ready for exploration, with its halogen headlights, skid plates, front and rear tow hooks, and 17-inch black steel wheels. The Sport is also fitted with a black Sunrider soft top and removable doors so you can experience open-air adventures.

The simple yet refined interior is equipped with an eight-speaker sound system and Jeep’s Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which gives you a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay support and Android Auto compatibility.

2. Sport S

Building on the Sport, the Sport S adds some creature comforts, such as aluminum wheels, automatic headlights, and heated power mirrors.

3. Willys

Next is the Willys, which improves the Wrangler’s off-road prowess with an electronic locking rear differential, heavy-duty front and rear axles, and a specially tuned suspension. Rock rails help protect the underbody when traversing rough terrain. You also receive an Off-Road Plus drive mode to adapt the SUV for exploration.

The Willys body gains model-specific badging and black accents on the wheels, grille, and bumpers, and a lighting upgrade introduces front LED fog lamps, LED reflector headlights, and daytime running lamps.

4. Sahara

Although the Sahara loses the off-road enhancements of the Willys, it becomes a more stylish Wrangler, swapping the V6 for a slightly more sedate 270-liter 2.0-liter I4 turbo engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

5. Rubicon

The Rubicon returns to the V6 and the upgrades of the Willys and gains more off-road enhancements, including high-clearance front fenders, a performance-tuned suspension, a Rock-Trac 4×4 system, and 17-inch wheels with 33-inch off-road tires.

6. Rubicon 392

Heading the lineup is the Rubicon 392, the most capable, powerful, and luxurious Wrangler of all. The increased power comes from a 6.4-liter V8, which pushes the output to 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Jeep also adds a full-time four-wheel drive system, heavy-duty rock sliders, steel bumpers, and an integrated Warn winch with an 8,000-pound capacity.

The more luxurious cabin is now lined with Nappa leather, and front passengers enjoy eight-way power-adjustable seats with four-way power lumbar. An infotainment upgrade introduces an integrated navigation system and an Alpine audio system.
