The 2025 Dodge Durango has no shortage of big numbers, but here’s one to remember: 11. That’s how many trims this family-sized muscle SUV comes in.

GT

The base model sticks to what works. You get a platform that’s stood the test of time, the venerable Pentastar V6, and a ZF-designed 850RE transmission. It’s also the only model where you get to choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. And you won’t be missing out on comfort, either. Heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen all come standard.
GT Plus
The AWD-only GT Plus upgrades the GT with 20-inch wheels, a big glass roof, leather, a nine-speaker sound system, heated second-row seats, ventilated front seats, and better dampers (normal-duty suspension vs. Eco Suspension III).
R/T
The biggest change the R/T brings is under the hood: a 5.7-liter Hemi V8. With it, horsepower jumps from 295 to 360, maximum towing capacity climbs to 7,400 pounds, and fuel efficiency drops by 3 units to 17 mpg combined. If heavy towing and fun driving are on your list, this one’s a pretty solid place to start.
R/T Plus
Think of this trim as a GT Plus with a big Hemi V8.
R/T Premium
Going from Plus to Premium means you get a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a performance hood, forged carbon fiber interior accents, and a suede headliner.
R/T 20th Anniversary Plus
The 5.7-liter Hemi V8 first hit the Durango 20 years ago, and this model is a nod to that milestone. Dodge went all in on this one, adding 20-inch Lights-Out aluminum wheels, SRT seats, performance-tuned steering, Brembo brakes, second-row captain’s chairs, adaptive dampers, and an 8,700-pound maximum towing capacity.
R/T 20th Anniversary Premium
To earn the Premium badge, this model upgrades the previous trim with all the good stuff from the R/T Premium.
SRT Hellcat
6.2 liters of supercharged V8 fury awaits in the SRT Hellcat. With 710 horsepower, it’ll go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and still tow 8,700 pounds.
SRT Hellcat Hammerhead
This is the first of three special Hellcats, each turning up the heat with its own twist. This one feature very dark blue paint, 20-inch Satin Carbon wheels, black Brembo brakes, and Hammerhead Gray Laguna leather seats.
SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet
This special model gets Triple Nickel body color, 20-inch Satin Black wheels with Lights Out finish, red-painted brakes, and Ebony Red Nappa leather seats.
SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey
Capping off the trio is this head turner in Red Oxide, finished with Brass Monkey wheels and Hellcat badging, black brakes, and a cabin dressed in Sepia Laguna leather.
